Hi, my name is Kala Carrillo. I have been teaching at Goddard High School since 2005. Prior to that, I taught Spanish at Andover High School, Andover Central and WSU.
I have a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Social Work, Bachelor in Modern and Classical Languages and Literature and a Masters in Spanish. All of my education has been at Wichita State University. I spent 3 summers studying in Puebla, Puebla Mexico. I attended one semester at La Universidad de las Americas in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico.
I have 2 children, Isabela and Caden. Isabela is in 11th grade at Goddard High School and enjoys playing her violin. Caden is in 8th grade at Goddard Middle School and is playing football. We keep very busy with family activities.
