Snow Day, January 10, 2025
Goddard Public Schools Families, Goddard Public Schools will not be in school on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, due to ongoing hazardous driving conditions. City, County, and District crews are working tirelessly to clear roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks, and we offer our deepest appreciation to them for their dedicated efforts. Given the extent of snow/ice in neighborhoods across the District, additional time is needed to ensure a safe return to school. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Ms. LeCluyse's math classes completed rotations practicing real world math as Quick Trip employees. They added, subtracted, and multiplied decimals to help calculate totals, gas mileage, the price to fill up a tank of gas, and word problems to help organize inventory.

This has been School Psychology Week! We are so grateful to have Mariah Nguyen, Ed.S., as the School Psychologist at Discovery Intermediate! She works closely with our students and teaching staff to ensure students are being supported in the best way possible. She is an amazing resource for all of us here at the school. She says: "The best part of my job is getting to collaborate with amazing teachers and staff to determine the supports each student needs to succeed in the classroom. I love watching students take off and thrive academically once they are able to get the help they need. " Thank you, Ms. Nguyen, for all you do for Discovery!
