Goddard Academy is excited to announce that we have partnered with Reality U! We truly believe that our students need to experience what life is going to be like after high school. With Reality U, we can teach our students about financial literacy, how their education impacts their future, along with the importance of understanding their personal financial situation. Students will go through stations that give them insight on health insurance, car payments, paying rent vs house payments and even experience the everyday bumps life brings us, such as a flat tire, a broken bone, or home repairs.
Reality U will be at Goddard Academy from 8am-12:30pm. This event is a mandatory attendance day and the students will have the opportunity to meet local business owners and professionals as well.
Parents are invited to come with their student from 6-7PM at Goddard Academy to participate in Reality U. This will give parents the opportunity to see what financial choices your son/daughter made during the day and give parents an insight of what future options they may have. Food and drinks will be provided Thursday night. We look forward to sharing this great experience with all of you!!

USD 265 Driver Education Registration opens Monday, August 21 at 10 AM through Skyward Family Access. Students must be 14 years old by August 29 to be eligible for this session. Only 65 spots are available and they will fill up very fast. $275 payment is due Thursday, August 24. Students are required to attend a meeting on August 29-30. The classroom portion will be online from September 25-October 13, and the driving sessions will be with one of the driving instructors.

The Backpack-to-School Supply Drive Pickup Event is happening 3:00pm-5:00pm, TODAY, Saturday, August 12, at Pathway Church Goddard Campus. If your family is in need, your children are welcome to choose the backpack they want, and fill it with the school supplies they need for a successful start to their school year!
We are so very fortunate to have such wonderful community partners, businesses that have opened their doors to be a school supply drop off site, and generous community members who have contributed supplies and donated online to the success of this initiative. It takes the whole community to educate students for lifelong success and this what makes our #265Family so amazing!
