On Friday, Goddard High School had a special guest, Credit Union of America, who had a surprise moment of recognition for Mrs. Kerschen, one of our GHS Counselors. CUA has been a strong supporter of Education and Educators in our area and continues to extend their support to many in the form of these great TGIF (Teach, Grow, and Inspire the Future) grant opportunities!
Mrs. Kerschen had this to say about the Grant and Opportunity, "I completed a grant with Credit Union of America in hopes to help fund a program that was active in our building prior to the Covid shutdown. The student ambassador group, RAH, stands for Random Acts of Happy. This is a student-led group that plans and implements random acts of kindness and 'happy' gauged to include every single person in the student body in an effort to improve building cohesiveness and a stronger sense of belonging. This is a priceless gift to the students of this group that just unlocked essentially endless possibilities for RAH implementation. Thank you, CUA, I cannot wait to tell them!"
Thank you to Mrs. Kerschen, Our Counseling Team, and to CUA for your continued positive impact on our Kids!
