This year, the GHS chapter of National Honor Society collected books for the Wichita Children's Home and Amelia Earhart's new book vending machine. To do this, they partnered with the New Market Square Barnes and Noble to host a book fair on Saturday, Dec. 6. NHS collected a percentage of the bookstore, cafe, and online sales for that day using a Bookfair code at checkout!
GHS National Honor Society earned over $1200 and were able to purchase almost 160 new books for the Wichita Children’s Home. Creative cooperation yielded some great results for kids this Christmas!
