The "GHS IS..." campaign continues at Goddard High School in November with the emphasis on TEAMWORK. This interraction is essential to a positive and productive environment. It effects not only the individual but all around them. Several strong candidates emerged as individuals who contribute to cohesive operation in the classroom, on their teams, and in their activities.
Teachers were invited to nominate students who exhibited this character trait. These students personify the concept by sponsoring community and relationships. Here are the winners for each grade and the comments their teachers shared about them.

Staff Quotes about Chloe:
“If Chloe doesn't pass, then no one can.”
“Chloe is excellent at teamwork! When I had her in class, both biology and anatomy, she was a great partner or group member - always doing her part, and being sure to help the other people do their parts, too. Last year she was a hard working member of the prom committee, putting in extra time and effort to pull off an amazing night for the juniors and seniors. If I were a team captain, I would definitely pick Chloe to be on my team!”
“Chloe earned an 'A' on a grammar test that college students must master in order to move on. Instead of stopping when she achieved individual succcess, she stayed involved in our study of grammar and even tutored a girl outside class. The girl she tutored earned an 'A' on the next test. Chloe is truly a great team member. I see Chloe working on projects throughout the school as well.”
“Chloe Foster works well as part of the Student Council co-executive president team. Chloe makes the StuCo team a priority by taking care of many tasks even without a Student Council TA hour. She also showed teamwork with the seniors when decorating for fall. She also helped her incentives committee brainstorm new ideas for the food drive and worked really hard to make the food drive more successful.”
Congratulations, Chloe!
