Do you know an expectant mother or someone with children ages 0-3 that may benefit from early learning opportunities in Goddard? All Parents As Teacher families (past, present, AND future) are welcome to join us from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. TODAY (Thursday, April 18th) at the covered/heated pavilion in Linear Park (108 N. Main St. Goddard, KS 67052) for a social hour that will include refreshments, a children's book giveaway and reunions. We can't wait to see you there!

Hao-Nikki Phan, a 10th grader at Goddard High School of Wichita, KS is a Delegate
to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders to be held June 26 - June 28, 2024, just outside Boston, on the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus.
The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields. The purpose of this event is to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the top students in the country interested in these careers, to stay true to their dream and, after the event, to provide a path, plan and resources to help them reach their goal.
Congratulations to Micki Soft-Heim, Goddard High School Registrar and Volleyball Coach, for receiving the District Attitude Award! Her nominator wrote, “Micki has taken on the role as registrar with full force. She is also the Head Coach of the GHS volleyball team and has taken this leadership role to turn around the program and develop a sense of pride in the school and community. She is a leader and brings positivity wherever she goes. She is an active member in the community and cares about Goddard.” - Terri Anderson

Pio Hernandez won a scholarship competition at Southwestern College receiving a full four year tuition! There were 56 other participants, and he had to write an on demand essay! Great job, Pio!!
GHS took 1st Place at the Kansas Bar Association’s Mock Trial competition today!
Kaylee Nguyen, Landon Hinds, Caleb Mann, Kaylee Honse, Sheyla Febus, Elle Dunlavy, and Gracyn Becker were the 1st team in school history to win this tournament!

Join us from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 in the Eisenhower High School cafeteria for the USD 265 Special Education Services Fair! There will be an array of service vendors and support organizations for individuals with special needs, as well as free Chick-Fil-A sandwiches while supplies last. USD 265 staff that attend will even be entered in a raffle for some great prizes! This event is aimed to help provide support, information and connect resources with those that need them. Come help us help our community!
